UK crane rental company Ainscough Crane Hire is to take delivery of two 450 tonne Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 All Terrain cranes - one arriving this month and one in May - to be added to its heavy crane division.
The cranes have an 85 metre main boom, swingaway jib, variable outrigger base and VarioBallast allowing it to operate in space-restricted situations.
Chief executive Janet Entwistle said: “Owing to the new cranes’ flexibility, there is great potential for it to operate on infrastructure projects, wind farms, refineries and city centre contracts where some larger cranes do not have the space to work. It can be delivered to a site and assembled quickly maximising uptime for us while positively improving productivity for our customers.”
