Italian truck mounted lift manufacturer Isoli has signed a partnership agreement with Vanjax Sales of Chennai, India, a hydraulic jack, aerial lift and scissor table producer and truck body building company.

Isoli will use the Vanjax production facilities to install its superstructures onto locally built truck chassis in order to be in a position to offer competitively priced platforms for both the Indian market and price sensitive tenders in other countries, including sub Saharan Africa, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and Sri Lanka.

Isoli managing director Enrico Cantoro said: "This agreement represents an important step forward for Isoli into the penetration of price-sensitive markets. This Joint-Venture will bring us around 40 additional units in the first two years. In addition we will complete our range of products with the interesting range of Vanjax units which will be offered to our Dealers".

Vanjax offers a wide range of aerial lifts, including vehicle mounted platforms, one person push around lifts, tractor mounted lifts, spider lifts, scissor lifts and boom lifts, including units built by Chinese manufacturer Dingli. The company is based Chennai, with offices in New Delhi and Bengaluru.

Isoli has also confirmed its parnership with China's Liugong which has just ordered 40 more Isoli superstructures for 2017, and is forecasting at least 60 units for 2018.
